Lake Lioson is a small alpine lake located in the Vaud Alps of Switzerland, near Les Mosses at an elevation of 1,850 meters. The water is crystal clear and has a deep emerald green color. The lake is a beautiful spot to enjoy a picnic, go for a swim, or simply relax and enjoy the scenery. A dip in the cool water is simply irresistible.There is a small restaurant at the lake (Restaurant Lac Lioson) there you can eat , drink and sleep over if you want.

Description
Variant 1: You reach the lake from the Parking Lioson d’en Bas in ca: 30 min - take the steep uphill path on the left side of the parking lot to Lac Lioson. You won't miss it.
Way back: Downhill to the Parking Lioson d’en Bas ca: 25 min or take a longer route , passing by Buvette des Petits Lacs ca: 2 h
Variant 2:
You can also choose a more diverse and attractive pathby taking a longer route on the right side of the parking lot.
Follow the signs towards Pic Chaussy. From the Buvette des Petits Lacs follow Lac Lioson signs. This route will take you through some of the beautiful alpine meadows in the area ( ca: 2 h)
Way back: Go downhill to the Parking Lioson d’en Bas ca: 25 min.

Your walk begins at Parking Lioson d’en Bas. You can get there :
By car: having arrived to the Les Mosses (from the north), after passing the Hotel le Relais Alpin turn left to the Les Fontanes road.Then after 300 m turn left on the Les Cartiers and after ca 100 m turn right to the Les Mosses road which will lead you to the Parking Lioson d’en Bas.
