Col de la Ramaz to Lac de Roy:

Starting from the convenient parking area at Col de la Ramaz, the hike to Lac de Roy is
a gentle, well-marked route that’s perfect for families, casual walkers, and beginners alike.
The wide trail meanders through open alpine meadows and rolling pastures, offering stunning views of the surrounding peaks throughout the journey.
As you get closer to the lake, you see Pointe du Marcelly—a tall, rocky peak standing high above the calm water. The path remains easygoing for most of the way, though the return includes a short but steeper section, gaining about 100 meters in elevation.
This hike offers a gentle challenge that’s suitable for families and everyday walkers.
The reward? A beautiful mountain lake nestled in the heart of nature—ideal for a peaceful picnic, or simply soaking in the alpine air.

From Geneva: Drive approximately 60 km (~1 hour) via the A41 and D902, then follow D308 toward Taninges / Les Gets / Praz de Lys
From Les Gets: It's about a 15 km drive along the D308 eastbound toward Sommand / Col de la Ramaz
From Chamonix: Approximately 70 km via Cluses, then take D902 north and D308 to reach the pass
