1. Your hiking begins at the railway station in Les Houches. Follow the sign towards parc de Merlet.
2. After the bridge, turn right on the Chem. des Eaux Rousses.
3. Continue straight ahead along the path (parallel to the Arve river)
Don`t turn left (uphill) at the path crossing and don`t cross the river later on. 4. Your reach Les Gaillands Chamonix after ca: 1.5 h walking.
Walking back:
Take the train in Les Pelerinsback to Les Houches (ca: 500 m away from the Les Gaillands Rock Climbing)
Variants: After reaching the Les Gaillands, you explore (as planned) these two activities or if you would like to do that another day you could continue walking to Chamonix Downtown ca: 1.5 km where you spend the rest of your day. You come back from Chamonix to Les Houches by train( Saint-Gervais-les-Bainsdirection)
