Le Bisse de Levron

Your adventure begins with a gondola ride from Verbier up to Savoleyres, where you can enjoy mountain views from the start. From the top station, follow the trail towards Croix de Cœur. After about 2 km, you’ll reach the Bisse de Levron, an old irrigation channel that winds through open meadows and larch forests.

The trail along the bisse is mostly easy and relatively flat, with views towards Verbier and the surrounding mountains. If you’d like to stop for something to eat, you can make a short detour to Restaurant Marmotte, about 6 minutes from the trail.

Otherwise, continue along the bisse as it passes through the meadows and forest towards Les Ruinettes. From there, take the gondola back down to Verbier

The route is not technically difficult, but there are some uphill and downhill sections. Good hiking shoes are recommended, especially after rain.
